Deletion/blocking of personal data

An important principle of the EU General Data Protection Regulation is data avoidance and data minimisation. Personal data is not directly assigned to a specific user, meaning that individual website visitors cannot be identified.
We collect this data on the basis of our legitimate interest in further optimising the technology, ensuring the connection to our website, ensuring the availability of our web services and for other administrative purposes.
Where appropriate, anonymised information is evaluated for statistical purposes, but this does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about specific or identifiable persons.

You can contact us at any time using our contact form. By doing so, you give us your consent to contact you. A valid email address or telephone number is required for us to contact you. Without this information provided by you, we will not be able to contact you.

Any additional optional information you provide will enable us to respond to your enquiry more effectively. Once your enquiry has been processed and there is no reason to continue processing this data, it will be automatically deleted.

When users leave comments or reviews, the time of creation and the username previously selected by the website visitor are also stored in addition to this information. This serves our security, as we can be prosecuted for illegal content on our website, even if it was created by users.

Cookies

Our website also uses so-called ‘cookies’. Cookies are small text files that are transferred from our system to your hard drive. These cookies automatically provide us with certain information. This could include, for example, your IP address, the browser you use to access our website, your operating system and other data.

Cookies are generally used to make the website easier for users to use and to enable our services to be displayed perfectly. Cookies cannot start programmes or even transmit viruses to your system.

Under no circumstances will the data we collect be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.

Most browsers are set to automatically accept cookies. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser to notify you as soon as cookies are sent. Once cookies have been set, you can delete them at any time by selecting the appropriate menu item in your internet browser or deleting the cookies on your hard drive. You can find details on this in the help menu of your internet browser.

Google Services

Google Maps

Our website uses the Google Maps API to visually display geographical information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of the Maps functions by visitors to the websites.
For more information about data processing by Google, please refer to Google’s privacy policy: http://www.google.com/privacypolicy.html. There you can also change your settings in the privacy centre so that you can manage and protect your data.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses ‘cookies’, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. However, due to the activation of IP anonymisation on these web pages, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

The purposes of data processing are to evaluate the use of the website and to compile reports on activities on the website. Based on the use of the website and the internet, further related services are then to be provided. Processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operator.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: Browser Add On to deactivate Google Analytics.

Google Ads

Our website uses Google conversion tracking. If you have reached our website via an advertisement placed by Google, Google Ads will place a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an advertisement placed by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across the websites of Google Ads customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.

If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can refuse the necessary setting of a cookie – for example, by changing your browser settings to generally disable the automatic setting of cookies or by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain ‘googleleadservices.com’.

Please note that you may not delete the opt-out cookies as long as you do not wish measurement data to be recorded. If you have deleted all your cookies in the browser, you must set the respective opt-out cookie again.

Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows marketers to manage website tags via an interface. The Tag Manager tool itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-less domain and does not collect any personal data. The tool triggers other tags, which may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If deactivation has been carried out at domain or cookie level, this remains in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.

YouTube

Our website embeds YouTube videos. The embedded clips store cookies on users’ computers when the page is accessed. Anyone who has deactivated the setting of cookies for the Google advertising programme will not have to expect such cookies when accessing YouTube clips. However, YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this, you must block it through your browser.

Google

Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. Nevertheless, it would be technically possible for Google to identify at least individual users based on the data received. It is possible that personal data and personality profiles of website users could be processed by Google for other purposes over which we have no control. This, and the fact that data is transferred to the United States, is problematic for data protection reasons.

By using this website and not deactivating the JavaScript function, you expressly declare, in full knowledge of the data protection issues involved, that you consent to the processing of data collected about you by Google in the manner described above and for the purpose stated above.
